Dionne Hough, a native of Camden, South Carolina is an accomplished musician and has taught private piano and voice lessons for many years. Her early studies were with Billy Shepherd, and she later went on to study music composition at the University of South Carolina’s School of Music. There, she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition in 2001. Dionne is the Minister of Music and an Associate Pastor at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Camden, SC. She is also the founder and president of the nonprofit organization, Christian Musicians’ Guild.
Dionne is a former board member of the Arts Center of Kershaw County where she has served on several committees. She has also been accompanist and musical director for plays at Columbia Children’s Theater, the Arts Center of Kershaw County, and Workshop Theater in Columbia. From 2016–2017 she was the chapel team leader for Columbia International University where she graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in Ministry Studies in 2017. Dionne has travelled locally and abroad to share her gift of music with people from all walks of life. She continues to give of herself and strives to add value to the world around her.
